Lisa began her journey with Project Oz as an intern in 1995. Her dedication to youth and families led her to grow within the organization, serving as a Crisis and Intervention Specialist, Supervisor of Transitional Living Programs, and Manager of the Youth Services Division. She became Vice President in 2006 and stepped into her current role as CEO in 2018. For over 25 years, Lisa has built strong programs and partnerships to support youth in McLean and Livingston Counties. She helped launch street outreach and transitional living programs for youth experiencing homelessness and expanded Project Oz’s reach through the National Safe Place program.

Lisa specializes in program planning and evaluation using a trauma-informed and positive youth development approach, as well as developing and managing high-performing teams. She holds a Master’s in Sociology from Illinois State University and certifications in Human Resources and Restorative Practices. Lisa is also actively involved in supporting youth programs by serving on the boards of Youth Collaboratory, the Illinois Association of Behavioral Health, the Illinois Collaboration on Youth, and the Illinois Youth Budget Commission.
